B i o g r a p h y

Karolina Glab graduated from the faculty of piano at the Krakow Academy of Music under Milena Kedra-Adamczak in 2010. She perfected her skills through master classes and workshops with, amongst others, Laszlo Baranyay, Andrzej Jasinski, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydron, Anna Malikova, Marina Primachenko, or Nelly Ben-Or.

 

Her fascination with other cultures has led her to obtaining a Master´s degree in Russian Studies – and is reflected in her continuing interest in the music of the Russian composers of the 20th century.

 

She has participated in concerts in Poland, France and Switzerland, as well as in competitions in Greece and Italy, and in various musical projects such as the Aleksander Tansman festival of music on the composer´s 110th anniversary (2007), “Karol Szymanowski – piano works” (2007) or “Dmitri Shostakovich – 24 Preludes and fugues op.87” (2006). In 2014 she played during the Fesitval OFF in Avignon as an accompanist for the ensamble Opera Bulles.

 

Since 2010, she has been sharing her experience and knowledge as a piano teacher and accompanist in Poland and France.
